Our River Lodge
Set on a serene hillside overlooking the pristine Mtakatyi River, with panoramic ocean, river and forest views, Mtakatyi River Lodge provides Comfortable and Affordable Wild Coast holiday accommodation for Nature Lovers and Adventure Seekers alike. Perfect for Families. The Lodge is situated a pleasant 1km walk, or drive, from the river banks. The Mtakatyi River Mouth is only 4kms from our own Private Launch Site, and is accessible by foot, vehicle or boat. The River has a wealth of birdlife and fish, making it perfect for birding or fishing.

ACCOMMODATION
Forest-View House
Our Forest View House is off to the side of the property. It acquired it's name because it is closest to the massive wind-breaking, Blue-gum trees mixed in with the indigenous flora. This provides a calming atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to relax while listening to the gentle breeze flowing through the trees. Each room can sleep two guests, and is tailored towards couples, with a maximum housing capacity of six.

Sea-View House
Our Sea View House is central to our property and faces down the garden, towards our Pool Bar. It has the best view of the Mtakatyi River Valley and Mouth. From the wooden deck you can watch ships sail by, the annual sardine run and the occasional whale breach. This House is tailored for groups and consists of three bedrooms and can sleep a total of six guests.
